Techniques: Hand Painting.  Our artists hand painted every detail.  It is overwhelming to think of the time and talent each artists invested in each of the nesting pieces!  Then each doll is dipped into multiple layers of non-toxic water-based lacquer to make a marvelous matryoshka collection. The bottom of the largest doll gets stamped with  “Made in Russia” mark of quality, initialed by the artist, and dated just like a true collectible.
